Arbutus/Madrone Flooring

We are refinishing an Arbutus/Madrone floor in our home. We are looking for a finish that will offer the max UV protection. We used a water based Pacific Strong finish last time and it was durable but the colours faded quickly. Any suggestions on a good floor finish for this?

Arbutus floor

Yes it is a beautiful floor. We only had plywood floors for many years waiting for something special to use. The Arbutus finally came our way through a lumber broker friend, it was a one time only offering and we jumped at the chance to purchase it.
(At a reasonable price I might add)We want to make sure we finish it right this time. Thank you to anyone who might be able to help.

Since I have no direct experience in Arbutus wood flooring or Madrone flooring, perhaps others can leave a comment who have had successes.

Must be one heck of a gorgeous hardwood floor!
