Does walnut oil

I made salad hands and at the request of the person I made them for stained them golden pecan. However I need to seal/protect the hands. I read your article on walnut oil and wondered if the walnut oil changed the hue of the stained project.

The oil will enrich the wood with a very pale color. Try it on a plain piece of wood first to see.
