Yew wood polls and rails

I found yew wood to be an awesome wood because it has a strong old look. I used peeled tree polls to hold up my longhouse at my property outside Campbell River on Vancouver Island.

The yew wood polls are about 3 hundred years old. I made yew wood chairs, benches,window sills,canes,etc.

One poll I would sell is 30ft tall. It took a tilt trailer and a 10 thousand ton winch to get it out of the bush but it is worth it. I think it will make a centre poll for a large cabin. I have pictures if anyone is interested. The tree is about 400 years old.
