Dad's Favourite Tree

The arbutus tree was my Dad's all time favourite tree.

He passed away 10 years ago now. The year after he died I bought a little arbutus tree from a nursery and planted it at the side of my house. It grew for 9 years. For a long time it didn't really grow at all.

But eventually it grew to about 6 feet tall.
Sadly I tried to move the tree as it was growing under the overhang. But since these trees are very fragile it died.

Now I am trying desperately to find another arbutus tree to plant in memory of
My father. I've even tried starting from seed!
