Orca Whales

Just before the last New Moon, over the course of a few days, the spirit of the Orca whale visited me in my dreams and in my waking hours, through the voices of friends, imagery in texts and random encounters. I wondered, what message does the Orca whale bring to me at this time?

On the night of the New Moon, as I gathered with sisters in our Island sweat-lodge, one sister read an astrological interpretation of the Piscean New Moon.

In it, this moment of time was described as being connected to the Orca, who 'reminds us to breathe deeply into our souls'.

I instantly understood this message was for me. The perfect reminder at the perfect time.
