Trailing Arbutus

I now live in Northern California, but grew up in Maine. We used to pick a flower called Trailing Arbutus, or Mayflower. My sister and I would pick them in the spring. They grew close to the ground, often right up through the snow. And they smelled SO GOOD. We would take them to our mother.
