Yew Wood Wanted for base for hand made bathroom sink

I had a potter friend make me an above counter sink for the bathroom I am planning to renovate. I asked my friend to make us a base to match, he suggested Yew wood would have a better visual effect.

Can you tell me what is available in Yew wood that I can make a base/countertop. The dimension would be approximately 16 x 22 inches.
